Wildhagen Kids Adventure Gardens – Daily – Enjoy a fun scavenger hunt that takes you through trails with life sized mossed animal and beautiful gardens to enjoy! Plus a 4000 sq ft barn with plenty of fun activites in case it rains!
Milton Fall Fair – September 26 – 28 – Be sure to visit the Annual Milton Fall Fair. The theme this year is Country Roots. Lumberjack show, face paonter and balloons, musicians, dog show, DJ, car show, demolition derby and more. Be sure to drop by the momstown Milton booth at the Baby Contest on Sunday!
Fall Into Nature – Conservation Halton Parks – October 4, 5, 11, 12, 13 – Enjoy the fall colours and outdoor experiences including chairlift and wagon rides, trails and landscapes, pumpkin activities, live music and First Nations dancers, birds of prey shows, BBQs and more. Draw for a Conservation Halton annual membership. We have several momstown chapters heading over on October 4th for a Discovery Trip!
Harvest Halton – Country Heritage Park – October 5 – Celebrate local food and the autumn harvest at the second annual Harvest Halton festival. This one-day culinary event will feature some of the Region’s top chefs with local farmers, breweries, wineries, cider producers and more. Great food and entertainment.
Celebrating Stories: A Family Festival – Milton Centre of the Art – October 19 – Great day of free entertainment and fun for the whole family. The Festival will include face painting, book store vendors, community exhibitors and a visit from ‘Paws To Read’ therapy dogs and their handlers. Storybook characters Cinderella and a Pirate, will be on hand to greet children, sign autographs and pose for pictures.
Milton Haunted House – Milton Mall – October 25 & 26 – Frightening fun for all ages in support of the Milton District Hospital Foundation. Explore a scary haunted house with customized experiences that are extra frightening for adults and mild for children. Local pumpkins from the region will also be for sale.
Halton County Radial Railway – Halloween Spooktacular – Saturday, October 18 & Saturday, October 25, 6:30pm-10pm. All ages event! This year we will be featuring the Insane Asylum. Walk through the haunted car barn and travel in the old, creaky streetcars along the mainline and enjoy some hot apple cider & scary snacks. If you’re a Halloween fan this is definitely a spooky experience not to be missed! Costumes encouraged
